Xemplar To List In Namibia, Forms Warmbad Trust
Vancouver, May 23, 2007 - Xemplar Energy Corp. has proceeded to register a trust. This trust will be known as the Warmbad Community Trust.
Among the mineral licences, which have been granted to Xemplar through its Namibian subsidiary, Namura Mineral Resources (Pty.) Ltd., are two exclusive prospecting licences situated in the south of Namibia, close to a town by the name of Warmbad.
Namura has formed the opinion that the licences south of Warmbad have potential to be developed at some future point in time.
Cognisant of the conditions of poverty prevailing in that part of Namibia, Xemplar has decided that it will register a trust. The beneficiaries of this trust will specifically be the community of the area of Warmbad and generally the people of the Karas region. The company will, together with other parties, contribute an amount of $2-million (Namibian) as capital into the trust, in order to enable the trustees to meet their obligations as imposed on them in the trust deed. These funds will be used to benefit the entire community of Warmbad.
It is planned that the trustees will be representatives of the community of Warmbad, the governor of the Karas region, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Regional and Local Government, and Housing and Rural Development, and directors of Namura. Jointly, the trustees will decide exactly how the funds in the trust will be used.
Namura is of the opinion that in this way, the community of Warmbad and of the southern region of Namibia will directly benefit from the presence of Xemplar and will be part of the growth, which Xemplar expects to take place.
Apart from this, Namura is presently establishing itself on a farm south of Warmbad, from where its exploration operations will be run. The work force, as well as the equipment and supplies being used, is being employed and purchased in the south. Namura is considering other projects, which will further benefit the southern communities.
Over and above that, Xemplar has decided to dual list its shares on the Namibian Stock Exchange and will be the first exploration company to have done so. This will give all Namibians an opportunity to share in the growth of Xemplar.
We seek Safe Harbor.
On behalf of the Board of Directors,
Xemplar Energy Corp.

President
