Namibian Exchange Listing and Warmbad Update

Vancouver, British Columbia, October 24, 2007 - Mr. W. G. McDowall, President and CEO of Xemplar Energy Corp. (TSX-Venture: XE, Frankurt: E7R) ("Xemplar" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its common shares have commenced trading on the Namibian Stock Exchange ("NSX") under the symbol XEM. In so doing Xemplar has now given Namibian Institutional and retail investors the opportunity to diversify their Namibian portfolios to include Xemplar.

Further to the press release dated May 23, 2007 the Company is also pleased to announce that is has today completed its donation of $2 million (Namibia) to the recently formed Warmbad Trust. These funds will be used to benefit the entire community of Warmbad.

Drilling Progress-Warmbad

The company wishes to announce that a second rig has commenced drilling on the Warmbad project. Preliminary results from the first two holes indicate that the alaskite at "Big Yellow" continues at depth and that it is mineralized, since visible secondary uranium mineralization in the form of uranophane can be seen in drill samples collected so far.

Mike Magrum, PEng, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has approved the technical content of this news release.
