EXPLORATION UPDATE
Vancouver, January 7, 2008 - Xemplar Energy Corp (TSX-Venture: XE, Frankfurt: E7R, Namibia: XEM) (“Xemplar” or the “Company”) is pleased to report on the progress at its Warmbad Project (EPL’s 3567 and 3568) in Namibia.
The company wishes to report that there are no material changes in the company’s activities and that the company is still waiting for assay results from samples submitted in December 2007. These samples are from 13 holes previously drilled and the results from these samples are expected by the end of January 2008. These samples were dispatched to Set Point Labs in Johannesburg, South Africa, an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory.
Drilling Progress – Warmbad
Drilling on the Company’s Warmbad project will recommence on the 15th of January 2008 using three drilling rigs. This will be increased to five rigs by the end of January when two more RC drilling rigs are delivered.
