Xemplar closes deal to acquire Corhill

Mr. Arthur Gordon-Tydd reports:

Xemplar Energy Corp. has closed the property acquisition announced in Stockwatch on Aug. 23, 2005, and the company has issued 500,000 shares at a deemed price of 24 cents.

In respect of any shares issued or issuable pursuant to the foregoing securities, a hold period with an expiry date of Dec. 27, 2005, applies.
